Activlink Pty Ltd ("Activlink", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you register for a trial, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, or use the Activlink platform. This may include:

  • Identity information — full name, organisation, role, business identifiers you choose to provide.
  • Contact information — email, phone number, postal address.
  • Operational data — staff records, client records, shift data, attendance logs that your organisation enters into the platform.
  • Technical information — IP address, browser type, device identifiers, log data.

2. How we use your information

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the Activlink platform.
  • Process registrations, invoices and customer support requests.
  • Send service updates, security alerts and (with consent) marketing communications.
  • Comply with Australian legal obligations including NDIS, Aged Care and ATO requirements.

3. Storage & security

All Activlink data is stored in Amazon Web Services Sydney region (ap-southeast-2). Data is encrypted at rest with AES-256 and in transit with TLS 1.3. We perform automated daily encrypted backups with 35-day retention.

4. Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We only disclose it to:

  • Service sub-processors (AWS, email delivery, payment gateways) under strict data-processing agreements.
  • Australian regulators or law enforcement where legally required.
  • Successors in the event of a business sale or merger (with prior notice).

5. Your rights

Under the APPs you may:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion subject to legal retention obligations.
  • Lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

6. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on the marketing website.

7. Children

Activlink is a business platform and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be notified by email to account administrators.
